What is the minimum account size?

You can deposit your investment in a number of different currencies, and you can follow your account in real-time and it will be converted back to your preferred currency. For USD deposits, the minimum is USD 10,000, or the equivalent for all other currencies.

How do I withdraw funds from my account?

If you would like to withdraw money, we will transfer the required amount in line with your instructions within 24 hours.

What service will I receive?

You will have access to our advanced SaxoTrader platform, delivering real-time information, quotes, charts and news as well as full access to all Saxo Bank analysis. You will also receive full access to personal service from our dealers, analysts and account executives. Furthermore, you will receive our highly competitive prices in foreign exchange, CFDs, stocks, futures and options. You can deal instantly on the SaxoTrader platform and follow your profit/loss in real-time.

Which markets can I trade?

You can trade foreign exchange in all major and most minor currencies. CFD trading is available in the US and 10 European markets. Futures and options can be traded in all major financial and commodity futures markets. And share trading is available in major US and European markets.

What are your commissions?

Foreign exchange and CFDs are commission free; you deal directly on our market-making spreads. Futures and stock commissions depend on your trading volume.

What security do I have for my investment?

All investors are covered by the Danish Guarantee Fund for Investors; an institution established by the Danish parliament. The Fund covers deposits up to EUR 40,000.

Is online trading secure?

Yes - when the platform is properly designed. SaxoTrader authentication relies on the user knowing the password and a RSA 1024-bit key generated and stored on the client workstation. Traffic on SaxoTrader is encrypted using the RC4 128-bit session key.
