• What is IntelliScript?

  • IntelliScript, is a programming code developed to allow traders the ability to customize the charts, alerts, indicators. to best meet their individualized style of trading. Or in other words an Intelligent
    Script.

• How do I use IntelliScript?

  • Due to the diverse aspects of the IntelliScript capabilities, we recommend reviewing the "IntelliScript" section of the User's Manual for in-depth answers to your specific questions regarding how to use IntelliScript. For examples of IntelliScript code, rather than the "how to", please click here .

• What's the difference between different time frames?

  • Successful traders base trade decisions on trading strategies, rather than an impulse buy, like you would in a supermarket. These strategies might include single or multiple indicators to analyze market conditions that are used to project the future direction of the market. Many of these strategies are best optimized at certain time frames.
    
    For example, you use a candlestick chart and you look at market data based on 15-munite increments. Then the question is how much data do want to be looking at on the screen. Your flexible options for the 15-minute increments are 1-day, 2-days, 5-days or 10-days.
    

• I don't know what the indicators are or what each of them do, help!

  • With offering traders the ability to use 40+ technical indicators to analyze market conditions allowing for better educated decisions, there is always the dilemma of so many choices and so little knowledge. Don't worry, we have compiled an overview of these indicators for quick reference. Please keep in mind that most successful traders only utilize a maximum of 4-5 indicators in their trading. You should not feel that you need to use all of the available indicators to be successful in the Forex market.

• What type of operating system is required to access 4x Charts?

  • 4x Charts requires an operating system of Windows 95 or higher.

• What type of browser is required to access and view all of 4x Charts features?

  • Our charts and tools can best be viewed with:

        Netscape Communicator version 4.08 or newer
        Netscape version 6.2 or newer
        Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or newer
        America Online 6.0 or newer
        and other compatible browsers*

    4x Charts features that run on Java applets are compatible with Sun Java VM1.1 and above. The browsers that 4x Charts is compatible with (mentioned above) all support Sun Java VM1.1. If you are using a browser with a lower version, please upgrade yours at the links below. 4x Charts will continue its efforts to support a broader range of browsers.
